Technology Integrations
How We’ll Integrate Technology into our cities.
The advancements of the digital era are roaring with the transformation of cities and communities into digital systems. When this transformation can happen, you can expect to integrate any new technology into small or even large cities if you have a strong plan.
Only the technologies that have visible benefits fascinate people. Hence, before integrating the technology, we made sure to develop an influential plan. Here are five steps that we’'ll follow to incorporate new technologies into our cities.
Analyze
We’ll infuse an impactful technology in the city, but we’ll need to understand beforehand whether this act of ours will benefit the people or not. Cities accept the change, but it takes time. To boost the speed, we’ll need to get familiar with those standards that majorly impact us and make sure that our plan helps them.
Brainstorm
Generally, technology is not developed solely. A team comes together to play its part. Hence, bring these people into the scene while planning. They will manifold you the megawatts to our collective brainpower, especially maybe some of our colleagues as well as experienced users.
At this stage, webbing is the most useful tool. We’ll begin with the main topic, keep expanding the boundaries, and relate ideas to build a map. This map of ideas will help us select the most useful plan and influential points
Map Project
Once me and our team involved have successfully gathered executable ideas, concepts, and activities, now we have the information required to gather software, hardware, and other essential elements to initiate the task and come up with the end product.
We’ll also create a rough sketch or a storyboard about the expected way how the integrated technology will work. To make the process more convenient and comprehensible, we can prepare a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation while using a simple layout.
Develop Assessment Tools
As the process is still fresh and breathing in your mind, it is time to show off some skills and information to the people because they will be responsible for demonstrating the technology. Now we’ll need to construct a rubric to construct a means for the assessment of performance. Determine how much weight we’ll give to specific aspects and elements of technology.
By giving the rubric, we can clearly lay out our expectations. As far as assessment tools, many resources are available online to help us formulate an ideal rubric.
Evaluation
Once we have successfully integrated the technology, it is time to evaluate what part of the technology works and what does not. What is missing and what is unnecessary? By analyzing the process and answering the questions, we can determine the success and impact of integrated technology in any city.
